Aggressive tourism strategy in our Historical cities is making us Cautious against Irrational interventions that alter their aesthetics and destroy their cultural heritage.

Nafplio's Syntagma Square is a unique monument.

 

A true pleasure of time "is our history. It is neither the square's history nor Nafplio's history, it's the history of Greece." It has changed many forms and names and gives the stigma in today's city. It is surrounded by buildings of various eras and cultures bearing memories of Ottoman, of Venetian, of neoclassical and of later eras, that to this day they retain the aesthetics of their original construction.

 

The film attempts a journey into myths, stories, memories, emotions, small and big events, buildings, aesthetics and people for whom the square is a way of life. A work of history and society, a collective city «lounge», a generous forum for every activity, religious, political, recreational activity, welcoming to all, the square's secret is one: Finding the right spot and time for eachother.
